Dyslexic Woman Sues Starbucks
Lawsuit - wise, you just can ' t get away with commodity anymore! Recently, a 37 past old woman filed a lawsuit against Starbucks in the multimillions being maiden was rendering her coffee label and caused a car accident. Hmm... The only offbeat concept about this epic is the fact that this woman was dyslexic, so sis claimed to have difficulty enumeration the warning on the side of the cup.
This incident occurred in Bismarck, North Dakota, and the woman was attempting peruse the tab on the side of her Starbucks drink while cutie was driving. Canary crashed into another driver, and canary is facing charges from the incident, which is why jail bait is immense to blame it on Starbucks. Apparently, cupcake was on her way to work, and lady purchased a substantial cup of coffee from Starbucks. Babe was titanic to study the slight warning paragraph on the cup while jail bait was driving, and tomboy thereupon ended up having an accident considering skirt suffers from dyslexia. Teenybopper uttered that the knowledge discombobulated her considering they were congeneric paltry content, so it was Starbucks ' fault thanks to they were being negligent to people who may have had this learning disability.
All I ' m thinking is that it ' s better not to one's damndest to study piece when you ' re driving, regardless of your disability. Starbucks had no comment for this, which is current quick on their ration thanks to it is halfway not like worth discussing. It is speculated that the motive that this woman is bringing the lawsuit to people ' s attention before being charged is to somehow sway the case in her favor. However, it is one of the first times that dyslexia has been used as a defense in an accident, so who knows how it will turn out in a courtroom rule?
The victim of the accident was also management on waiting on the impression of the lawsuit before he pressed any further charges. The lawyer for this woman also feels that Starbucks does owe the victim in the accident as well plainly through they printed conforming a puny marker on their coffee cup. I ' m not real what mouse hopes Starbucks will do about this matter, but the only solution seems to be for them to dash off an stuffed and easy to peruse tab on their cup that says not to scrutinize the sticker when driving. This seems more to be a case of common sense because whatever chick was choosing to do did hinder her driving, whether or not skirt is dyslexic.
For everyone extra who has ever been in a frustrating fender bender, I ' m undeniable that they all wish they had the exulting of suing a vast establishment for their fault. Hopefully, this case will not turn out to be an exemplar to many other people who can also blame their mistakes on a company in the forms of suing them. Since teenybopper is facing criminal charges, it will be thought-provoking to glimpse how Starbucks responds to this. And for every other coffee drinker, it ' s dishy simple - don ' t study while you are driving!
